At 26 august the Danish organisation of the Bella centre in Copenhagen opened the permanent design exhibition and the first Scandinavian material library, powered by Materia. The opening was a big success with inspiring and original design and lectures. Again; sustainability was the key item with a lot of furniture made of recycled and re-used stuff.
Heavy Metal? What about soft aluminum, flexible stainless steel, foamed aluminum, copper coatings and steel mesh; Materia will show the exhibition “ heavy metal” at Architect @ work in Rotterdam 15 and 16 sept. 2010. Come and see the newest textiles, casted forms, 3d printed objects and lots of samples and objects made of all kind of metals.
Our sustainability exhibition called Nature, materials and architecture will be held in Utrecht from 22 September untill 30 October. At Aorta, the Utrecht Centre of Architecture. Aorta offers information about developments in the field of urban development, architecture and related disciplines in the Utrecht region. Aorta is a permanent source of information about architecture in Utrecht and the surrounding area.
Flex; a material made of 100% polyester space fabric, which guarantees high technical performances. It's completely permeable to air & water and combines comfort and fast drying times. The coloured external surfaces, resistant to atmospheric agents and UV rays, are an integrating part of the cushion.
