Material Xperience was again a great succes with over 9.500 visitors and 80 participants. The material event for the creative proffessionals has been a relaxed and inspirational atmosphere with lots of knowledge exchange between exhibitor and visitor.

Light up your facade! HoloSign is a transparent or mirror glass screen that consists of holographic optical elements that break up white light into its spectral components. The colours generate change when the source of light or the viewer begins to move.

Louisiana Pavilion developed by 3XN wins the JEC Innovation Award 2010, the international award for the composite design field. The pavilion is based on biological and reusable materials.The vision of the project has been to create an energy-self-sufficient sustainable pavilion using bio-based materials that can both belong to and decompose in the biological cycle after use.

Inspiration


Inspired by rainbows, the Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka will present an installation in the ''MUSEUM.beyondmuseum'' in Seoul, South-Korea. With his fascination for natural phenomena he created a 8-meter-high stained glass made with approximately 500 crystal prisms as a part of the architecture.
