Materia wants to spread the knowledge of innovative materials to as many creative professionals as possible, all over the world. which is why travelling expositions have been set up which can be visited during trade fairs, in educational institutions, museums or architectural and design institutions.

Material offers a range of expositions starting from 100 materials, which are selected after consultation with you. Our consultants can also attend these expositions as required, and so share their knowledge of the materials with you.

What we can provide
Materia offers a whole range of exposition options. In January 2007, for example, we launched our third “Interaction” exposition, which showcased a selection of materials that almost literally want to “communicate” with their viewers and users. Materials that change colour, emit light, change shape, shrink and expand, and can even react to sound.

Customised expositions
In addition to our “standard” expositions, we can also provide an exposition tailored to your exact specifications. This could be an exposition specifically dedicated to ecologically responsible materials, lightweight or translucent materials, or any other topic of your choice. The exposition can also be supplemented with a lecture on the same theme.

Materia’s skills and expertise can also be incorporated into the organising of platforms and activities. Thanks to our years of experience in organising expositions, platforms, seminars and lectures, we know exactly how to approach every target group. We have access to an international network of 60,000 creative professionals whom we can call upon to publicise an event. All of them receive our monthly newsletter.

Continuous expositions
Do you want to be kept up-to-date regarding the newest developments and trends in the world of materials? For architectural firms, educational institutions and manufacturers we have a continuous exhibition on site.
A special permanent Materia display area shows samples of materials, and every month dozens of new materials are added to the display.
