Metile

These glossy metal glass tiles have smooth surfaces in gold, silver, copper or dark chrome. The material is 8mm thick crystal glass, forged at about 800° C. After forging the glass acquires a light reflection effect, caused by the gentle undulations of the surface. The tile edges are rounded as a result of partial melting of material. The metal is applied by electric ionisation in a vacuum chamber at constant temperature. A protective resin is applied which is suitable to be used with normal adhesives for ceramic tiles. On the surface of floor tiles a thin layer of glass powder is melted to achieve anti-slide and anti-scratch properties.
