CaesarStone® consists for 95% of natural quartz particles and 5% of polyester binding. These two components, combined with the additional colour pigment, result in a homogenic mixture.

By using an compaction technique – a combination of vibration, vacuum drawing and compression – a very compact stone plate with a thickness of 13mm is manufactured with a size of 3.00 X 1.37 metre. After the calibrating (= smoothing) and polishing you will have a plate material with unique features, which is very suitable for use as a countertop. CaesarStone® is hard,7 on ´Mohs´ hardness scale´.CaesarStone® can only be worked on with diamond equipment. CaesarStone® is scratch, damage and heat resistant, not porous, so that stains can be removed.
